What is the XRP prediction for the next bull market?

How has the XRP coin price moved in the last few weeks?

The XRP coin has long moved congruently with the price movements of other cryptocurrencies in the current bear market. The XRP price in the third quarter of 2022 was in a range between 0.30 and 0.40 US dollars. But in mid-September we saw the XRP price increase, while the other coins saw little movement.

The XRP coin surged from $0.38 to $0.53 in mid-September. This was an increase of about 30%. This was the first major increase in the XRP price since January. The reason for the increase was positive news surrounding the legal dispute between Ripple Labs and the American Securities and Exchange Commission .

In the last few days, the XRP price has increased with the increases in the Bitcoin price and other cryptocurrencies. However, this time the increase was lower than for other coins.

What caused the XRP coin to rise?

The increases in the XRP coin in recent weeks have significantly improved the forecast for the end of 2022. The XRP coin rose again to number 6 of the most valuable cryptocurrencies by market capitalization. But what were the reasons for the good performance of the XRP coin?

Litigation SEC, XRP Coin

In mid-September, some positive details emerged from Ripple's legal battle with the SEC. Ripple Labs, which as a company owns the majority of its XRP coins, received access to important documents that relieve the company. Furthermore, the SEC also seems interested in bringing the proceedings to an end. A termination of the legal dispute should result in a massive XRP increase in the future.

What is the XRP prediction in the next bull market?

After the increases in the XRP price in recent weeks, many investors are bullish on the XRP coin in the medium and long term. But what is the XRP forecast for the next bull market?

When is the next bull market?

If we look at cryptocurrency cycles, we see that every bear market is followed by a bull market. This cycle lasts about 4 years and is based on Bitcoin Halving, which takes place about every 4 years. After the next Bitcoin Halving in 2024, we should see a transition back to a bull market. So the next bull market is very likely in 2024 and 2025.

What is the XRP forecast for 2025?

Once we have established that we are in the bull market in 2025, we can look at what the XRP forecast looks like for the next 3 years. In the last bull market, the XRP price could not rise as much as in the previous bull market. In the late 2017 bull market, the XRP coin rose to an all-time high of $3.84. During 2021, the XRP price only rose to a value of $1.62. That was due to the ongoing litigation with the SEC.

We can divide the forecast into 2 parts:

In the current bear market until the Bitcoin Halving, a rise to $2-3 dollars is quite possible as the litigation with the SEC is very likely to be over by 2024.

In the bull market after the halving, an increase by a factor of 10 is quite realistic.

If we make these two assumptions, we can take an XRP forecast of $20- $30 in 2025, the peak of the next bull market.

Is an investment in the XRP Coin worthwhile?

An investment in the XRP coin could be worthwhile this year if we look at our forecast for the next bull market. The XRP is actually probably one of the undervalued cryptocurrencies on the market and still has a huge potential for price growth.

From offchain to offchain: Statechains meets Lightning

Without a doubt, the most significant off-chain Bitcoin solution is the Lightning network. But in its wake, the statechain has emerged as an intriguing replacement. There is currently a proposal to link the two offchain networks. From an ocean, for example, you can see sunbeams glistening in the water, waves rippling, and possibly a jellyfish drifting toward the light. But you only see a small portion of it. The distance from the sea's surface to its bottom is hundreds of meters. It has dozens of different fish species swimming in it, crabs and starfish crawling on the bottom, shells clinging to rocks, and sea plants climbing up. A completely new world starts where your gaze diverges. You can picture a blockchain like Bitcoin, just like the sea. What you see on the outside is only a small portion of what is actually there; the set of UTXOs (coins) and transaction history that full nodes store are just the beginning of a much larger world. It's the plan, at least. With Bitcoin...

Phishing attack on popular crypto sites tries to empty wallets

Several major crypto sites such as Etherscan, CoinGecko, DeFi Pulse, and others report malicious pop-ups scammers use to try to trick users into connecting their MetaMask wallets. The phishing attack came from a domain displaying the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) logo. "We are investigating the root cause of this attack to fix the threat as soon as possible," CoinGecko founder Bobby Ong tweeted. The phishing attack appears to have been triggered by a malicious ad script from Coinzilla, a crypto ad network, according to CoinGecko. Etherscan also advises its users not to confirm any transactions that may appear on the website. The attackers attempted to use the hype around the “bored monkeys” non-fungible tokens (NFT) to gain access to the cryptocurrencies of unsuspecting website visitors. Although the websites affected by the scam attempt have reacted in the last few hours and deactivated the advertising pop-up, it is still recommended not to connect your MetaMask wallet to ne...

Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs stolen through phishing on Instagram

Bored Ape Yacht Club ( BAYC ) developers announced on Monday that hackers have hijacked the official Instagram page of the popular NFT collection and posted links to a fake airdrop. Crypto enthusiasts who connected their MetaMask wallet to the rogue website subsequently had their Ape NFTs stolen. Apparently, the attack was planned to coincide with the one-year anniversary of the BAYC collection. This increased the "perceived credibility" of the phishing link. About 100 NFTs are said to have been stolen in the phishing attack . According to CoinGecko data , the minimum price for a BAYC NFT is 139 Ether ( ETH ) or $400,726. So if reports are correct, over $40 million worth of NFTs were stolen in the attack. These numbers are only the lowest estimate, however, as they are based on the lowest price.  At the time of writing, it was still unclear how the hackers gained access to BAYC's official Instagram account. Social media users have pointed out the importance of two-fact...
