LEO MESSI BECOMES AMBASSADOR FOR CRYPTO EXCHANGE BITGET

Leo Messi enters into another partnership

Bitget, a major cryptocurrency platform, announced yesterday Monday that it has signed a partnership agreement with Lionel (Leo) Messi, one of the world's most popular soccer players and holder of the record-breaking Ballon d'Or awards.

Leo Messi is one of the most popular and well-known sports stars around the world. In November he will join Argentina's national team as captain at their 5th World Cup, which will be held in Qatar this year.

According to a press release, the partnership will allow Messi fans to explore the potential of cryptocurrency trading and Web3 opportunities . However, for Messi, the winner of six European Golden Shoes, it is not the first encounter with the crypto world. In March 2022 he already signed a multi-year partnership with Socios.com, a fan token platform.

Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget has the following to say:

We seek to reflect the diversity and richness of our platform community in the partnerships we choose. We open Web 3 to sports fans; they open the field for crypto traders. As the FIFA World Cup approaches, Messi will lead Argentina to new glory. We are honored to have such a force of nature working with us

Bitget's football adventure did not end with Leo Messi or Juventus Turin, because already in February this year the company signed a sponsorship deal with the Turkish football club Galatasaray.

Sports sponsorship helps crypto companies build brand awareness

The popularity of sponsorship deals among trading firms, particularly Contracts for Difference (CFDs) brokers, and now crypto platforms and exchanges, is ample evidence that their marketing departments are eager to spend money on advertising campaigns, including the most popular brands and athletes.

Some even believe that the crypto industry will take the niche and push CFD tokens back. 10 years ago the XTB logo could be found on the cars of the Vodafone Mercedes F1 racing team. However, a decade has now passed and while retail brokers can still be seen in the sports sponsorship scene, the biggest deals are being struck by crypto companies.

Last year, leading cryptocurrency trading platforms Crypto.com and FTX invested $1 billion in the world of esports. FTX inked a $135 million deal for the Miami Heat Arena.

The 5 largest platforms for non-fungible token (NFT) collectibles

Since the beginning of 2021, non-fungible tokens (NFT) have had no holding back and the sector is setting new records almost every day.  More and more artists, stars and brands are realizing the potential - NFT are well on their way to catapulting the crypto space into the mainstream.  But which collectibles are currently the most popular? What are NFT? NFT are unique tokens that cannot be exchanged one-for-one for an equivalent token.  Any asset that is tokenizable can be an NFT.  This includes, for example, (digital) works of art, trading cards, game items and crypto domains.  Theoretically, however, real estate or securities can also be mapped as NFT. NFTs can be used to transparently map ownership structures on a public blockchain.  This allows them to store value just like real objects, even if additional copies are easy to make.  For example, the original picture of the Mona Lisa is significantly more valuable than a photo, as everyone kno...

CARDALONIA: THE CARDANO METAVERSE OPENS THE GATES!

Have you ever been to Cardalonia? With these words, the Cardano Metaverse called Cardalonia starts the gates. In this 3D world, developers and users can interact with each other. First of all, users have to create an individual character with which they can move online. After that you can enter one of the worlds built by developers with this character. You can also purchase your own land in the Cardano Metaverse via the marketplaces in Cardalonia . This is secured by Cardano's blockchain technology and therefore offers a relatively secure transfer of ownership. Since these are only digital plots of land, it is not yet entirely clear when the plots of land are purchased whether they can also be sold again in the future. A possible profit cannot be estimated at the moment. In Cardalonia, the cryptocurrency Lonia is used. The maximum amount of tokens in circulation is 100,000,000. The team consists of Alice Sand (Co-Founder), Vasil Air (CTO) and Dustan Water (Fullstack Developer). T...
