Avalanche: Gün Sirer rejects serious allegations

Ava Labs has had a close partnership with US law firm Roche Freedman since 2019. So far, those affected do not dispute the presentation of the “Crypto Leaks” blog. But in a report , Crypto Leaks raises serious allegations that Roche and Ava Labs are accused of deliberately bringing lawsuits against their competitors. This could include Solana, as Roche is representing a plaintiff who sees the SOL tokens as unregistered securities.

Accordingly, the aim of the lawsuits would be to draw the attention of regulators such as the SEC to the competition, while allowing the company itself to continue operating unhindered. These claims are supported by short recordings of a conversation between Roche and an unknown person. In fact, in these recordings, the lawyer says some things that don't make him look good.

Including that he received an unspecified amount of AVAX tokens and also holds shares in Ava Labs. These and other statements make the theory that Roche and Ava Labs are suing parts of the crypto industry attractive, but the revelations should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Statements taken out of context

Roche promptly defended himself and published a blog post in which he described his view of things. Although he works very closely with Ava Labs, there has never been a lawsuit in which Ava Labs represented directly against another party.

In fact, it cannot be said that the various lawsuit opponents that Roche has taken on over the years on behalf of various clients can always be counted among Ava Labs' or Avalanche's competitors.

More importantly, Roche, for its part, revealed that the unidentified person who took the footage works for an opponent in another case. Namely the co-founder of ICP. According to Roche, these are unauthorized recordings that have been taken out of context. This is where the circle closes, because ICP is not only an opponent of the proceedings, but the Crypto Leaks blog has published articles in the past that primarily protect ICP. This raises the suspicion that it could be a targeted dirt campaign.

Emin Gün Sirer speaks of conspiracy theory

The founding father of Avalanche also commented and was deeply concerned. Accordingly, the in-house technology would speak for itself. So there is no need for immoral complaints, nor would one even consider such an unethical practice. Gün Sirer spoke of crude conspiracy theories in connection with the Crypto Leaks report.

In addition, he emphasized that Roche is not represented in regulatory matters. In addition, Ava Labs strongly condemned the case brought by Roche against Solana and explained in a separate post why the lawsuit was unfounded.

Meanwhile, the global crypto community is still debating whether this is a real conspiracy or just a fabricated story. Whether or not Crypto Leaks pulled the story by the hair, the damage done to Kyle Roche and Ava Labs' reputations seems irreparable.

The 5 largest platforms for non-fungible token (NFT) collectibles

Since the beginning of 2021, non-fungible tokens (NFT) have had no holding back and the sector is setting new records almost every day.  More and more artists, stars and brands are realizing the potential - NFT are well on their way to catapulting the crypto space into the mainstream.  But which collectibles are currently the most popular? What are NFT? NFT are unique tokens that cannot be exchanged one-for-one for an equivalent token.  Any asset that is tokenizable can be an NFT.  This includes, for example, (digital) works of art, trading cards, game items and crypto domains.  Theoretically, however, real estate or securities can also be mapped as NFT. NFTs can be used to transparently map ownership structures on a public blockchain.  This allows them to store value just like real objects, even if additional copies are easy to make.  For example, the original picture of the Mona Lisa is significantly more valuable than a photo, as everyone kno...

CARDALONIA: THE CARDANO METAVERSE OPENS THE GATES!

Have you ever been to Cardalonia? With these words, the Cardano Metaverse called Cardalonia starts the gates. In this 3D world, developers and users can interact with each other. First of all, users have to create an individual character with which they can move online. After that you can enter one of the worlds built by developers with this character. You can also purchase your own land in the Cardano Metaverse via the marketplaces in Cardalonia . This is secured by Cardano's blockchain technology and therefore offers a relatively secure transfer of ownership. Since these are only digital plots of land, it is not yet entirely clear when the plots of land are purchased whether they can also be sold again in the future. A possible profit cannot be estimated at the moment. In Cardalonia, the cryptocurrency Lonia is used. The maximum amount of tokens in circulation is 100,000,000. The team consists of Alice Sand (Co-Founder), Vasil Air (CTO) and Dustan Water (Fullstack Developer). T...
