Now Charles Hoskinson is suffering almost the same fate. It is questioned whether his educational biography is correct. One of the most well-known crypto journalists, Laura Shin, has published a book revealing hacking of Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAO). A reader noticed that Charles Hoskinson was also mentioned in it, which prompted him to start a discussion on Twitter.

Of course, Charles Hoskinson didn't let this sit on his back and lashed out at Laura Shin for writing about his career and writing novels. He asserted that he does compete with sci-fi and other writers and felt that people shouldn't comment on that.


Shin explained that as a writer, she works out of goodwill and also for well-known magazines like Forbes, so she has no reason to lie. She asked Hoskinson to show the public his educational records. Hoskinson had previously said that he stopped mentioning his PhDs due to his involvement in the crypto world.


Shin did some research and even contacted the Universities of Denver and Colorado. She found that Hoskinson was a regular student and could not graduate. He did not have the potential to pursue an academic degree at doctoral level.


Hoskinson has succeeded in creating a very popular and strong project with ADA. In addition, Hoskinson uncovered the truth that Cardano's development was not an accident.


Shin criticized that a simple student like Hoskinson without a PhD could discuss Cardano development with professors or other equivalent academic qualifications.


If true, Hoskinson could jeopardize Cardano's reputation. The development is related to the truth content. If trust falls, this could even lead to the failure of the project.
