Cardano Foundation plants a million trees

The Cardano Foundation has found a creative way to restore it. Every time an ADA is exchanged for a TREE token, a tree is planted in Mombasa and tracked on the Cardano blockchain. Now the project has reached its first milestone.

The “CardanoForest” project, organized by the Cardano Foundation in partnership with Veritree, has reached its first milestone with one million trees planted.

The project “will support the restoration of land and the development of local ecosystems in Mombasa, Kenya,” explains Frederik Gregaard, CEO of the Cardano foundation, on Twitter .
