The price of Bitcoin will rise in 2022, says Ray Dalio



 The cryptocurrency market has seen massive growth this year and is expected to get even bigger in 2022.

Bridgewater Associates CEO Ray Dalio recently spoke about Bitcoin and the broader cryptocurrency market. Bitcoin has proven itself, according to Dalio, and the leading cryptocurrency will become even more valuable in the years to come. He explained:

"It has proven itself. It has not been hacked, it has proven itself in amazing ways over these 11 years and is probably the most exciting topic for many. It has been used and has now achieved imputed value status."

Dalio has been a strong proponent of cryptocurrencies in recent years. He believes the value of Bitcoin and other leading cryptocurrencies will rise in the coming year. The billionaire also discussed the surge in non-fungible tokens, stating that their value would increase over time.

According to him, non-fungible tokens are real. Similar to other developments in their early days, however, NFTs need time to settle in and be noticed by society. He added that he intends to own NFTs.

The cryptocurrency market has seen massive growth in the past few months, with the prices of most coins increasing by more than 100% over this period. Bitcoin started the year trading over $ 30,000 but is now trading over $ 50,000, up more than 70% in the past few months.

Ether, the second-largest cryptocurrency market cap, has also rebounded more than 100% since the start of the year and is now trading above $ 4,000 per coin. The total market cap of cryptocurrencies is currently over $ 2 trillion, a huge improvement from the $ 1 trillion recorded earlier this year.

Several market experts and analysts predict that the price of Bitcoin will increase in 2022. Some add that it could hit $ 100,000 in the next few months.
