Ethereum Name Service Tokens pumps after a successful airdrop

Ethereum Name Service - one of the most successful applications on the Ethereum blockchain. experiences a price increase for its new decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) governance tokenThe surge follows a widely anticipated airdrop valued at over $ 500 million.

Ethereum Name Service is an app that issues NFTs that can represent both Ethereum addresses and web domains. The app released an airdrop for its ENS token last night. Airdrops are a way to distribute tokens to Ethereum addresses that meet certain criteria, such as buying an NFT.

ENS NFT holders are currently eligible to claim tokens and many users have reported rewards of $ 20,000. The project's circulating market cap is currently $ 500 million. Adam Davidson wrote on Twitter: “Holy shit, this ENS airdrop was amazing! I happened to make $ 18,000. "

The airdrop required a number of governance steps before one could claim the tokens. The overnight price hike has prompted investors to make predictions in the tens of billions.

The ENS application process began at 7 p.m. ET on Monday. The eligibility and allocation of Ethereum Name Service domain holders were determined using a formula that takes into account both the duration of ownership of an ENS domain and the duration of future registration.

In order to be able to use the tokens assigned to them, the users had to vote on four articles of a basic ENS governance constitution. These articles ensured that the government cannot revoke ENS ownership, that the government can change registration prices, and that the government is in control of a scholarship program.

The beneficiaries then had to delegate their token voting rights before receiving their tokens. Applications for delegates were open last week and included some of the most powerful crypto organizations. The new token is already supported by Coinbase, which is the largest delegate.

The smooth introduction and the need to vote and delegate voting rights were praised. Many have called this one of the most successful airdrops in history. According to Ethereum Name Service Director of Operations Brantly Millegan, "ENS is there for the people".

The 5 largest platforms for non-fungible token (NFT) collectibles

Since the beginning of 2021, non-fungible tokens (NFT) have had no holding back and the sector is setting new records almost every day.  More and more artists, stars and brands are realizing the potential - NFT are well on their way to catapulting the crypto space into the mainstream.  But which collectibles are currently the most popular? What are NFT? NFT are unique tokens that cannot be exchanged one-for-one for an equivalent token.  Any asset that is tokenizable can be an NFT.  This includes, for example, (digital) works of art, trading cards, game items and crypto domains.  Theoretically, however, real estate or securities can also be mapped as NFT. NFTs can be used to transparently map ownership structures on a public blockchain.  This allows them to store value just like real objects, even if additional copies are easy to make.  For example, the original picture of the Mona Lisa is significantly more valuable than a photo, as everyone kno...

CARDALONIA: THE CARDANO METAVERSE OPENS THE GATES!

Have you ever been to Cardalonia? With these words, the Cardano Metaverse called Cardalonia starts the gates. In this 3D world, developers and users can interact with each other. First of all, users have to create an individual character with which they can move online. After that you can enter one of the worlds built by developers with this character. You can also purchase your own land in the Cardano Metaverse via the marketplaces in Cardalonia . This is secured by Cardano's blockchain technology and therefore offers a relatively secure transfer of ownership. Since these are only digital plots of land, it is not yet entirely clear when the plots of land are purchased whether they can also be sold again in the future. A possible profit cannot be estimated at the moment. In Cardalonia, the cryptocurrency Lonia is used. The maximum amount of tokens in circulation is 100,000,000.
