EOS AND QUANT worth it?



This weekend you chose EOS and Quant. So let's take a closer look at how these two altcoins have behaved in the last few days and what potential they still have. Did the Bitcoin Dump have a big impact?

EOS has been in a clearly recognizable sideways phase for weeks. On the 4H chart we can see our green range, which is between 3.50 - 5.00 USD.

We are currently at around $ 4.20, which is the upper end of this consolidation phase. For EOS it is currently important that we break through the 200-SMA (last 200-4H average candle / purple) and confirm it as support if necessary.

Furthermore, it would be important that we confirm the monthly resistance P and this also as support. Otherwise, EOS could see a sideways phase for more weeks.

We do not see any bullish signs for EOS in the EOS / BTC daily chart either. We are still in a clear downtrend, which we have not been able to leave for months.

We are now at around 0.0000072 BTC at the lower end of our green support zone. We were already rejected at the monthly resistance P and therefore have to reckon with lower prices.

Our next support is around 0.0000068 BTC on monthly support S1. This should not be broken under any circumstances, otherwise, we would form a deeper low and thus the downtrend would continue.

Quant (QNT) has also formed a smaller downtrend channel or a small falling wedge chart pattern. Right now we're on the lower end of that support line at around $ 231.

At the same time we used the monthly support S2 again as support and confirmed it. At QNT it would now be important that we get a push upwards with a significantly increasing trading volume.

In addition, the 200-SMA on the 4H chart has to be broken, which is exactly at the resistance of our falling wedge. If we manage to break through this resistance, new heights are also possible for QNT.

Phishing attack on popular crypto sites tries to empty wallets

  Several major crypto sites such as Etherscan, CoinGecko, DeFi Pulse, and others report malicious pop-ups scammers use to try to trick users into connecting their MetaMask wallets. The phishing attack came from a domain displaying the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) logo. "We are investigating the root cause of this attack to fix the threat as soon as possible," CoinGecko founder Bobby Ong tweeted. The phishing attack appears to have been triggered by a malicious ad script from Coinzilla, a crypto ad network, according to CoinGecko. Etherscan also advises its users not to confirm any transactions that may appear on the website. The attackers attempted to use the hype around the “bored monkeys” non-fungible tokens (NFT) to gain access to the cryptocurrencies of unsuspecting website visitors. Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs stolen through phishing on Instagram

  Bored Ape Yacht Club ( BAYC ) developers announced on Monday that hackers have hijacked the official Instagram page of the popular NFT collection and posted links to a fake airdrop. Crypto enthusiasts who connected their MetaMask wallet to the rogue website subsequently had their Ape NFTs stolen. Apparently, the attack was planned to coincide with the one-year anniversary of the BAYC collection. This increased the "perceived credibility" of the phishing link. About 100 NFTs are said to have been stolen in the phishing attack . According to CoinGecko data , the minimum price for a BAYC NFT is 139 Ether ( ETH ) or $400,726. So if reports are correct, over $40 million worth of NFTs were stolen in the attack.
