Development team warns: Scammers target Shiba-Inu



An interest has arisen around the hype cryptocurrency Shiba Inu (SHIB) that unscrupulous fraudsters are trying to exploit. Cybercriminals try to get the money of altcoin investors interested in SHIB tokens with various offers that ultimately turn out to be non-existent.

Beware of alleged offers

The Shiba-Inu team wants to counteract this and publishes a short video on Twitter. In it, the developers describe various methods of deception.

The origin of the scams should therefore lie in a fake Shiba Inu Telegram channel and spread from there on social media. The scammers give themselves an official appearance and participate in conversations. They also comment on general contributions with their offers. Potential victims are attracted and addressed via fakes from official accounts and hashtags such as #shib, #shibarmy, #leash, #shibaswap and #bone .

No official promotions available

The Shiba-Inu team expressly points out that the promotions promised by the fraudsters such as airdrops, bonuses, giveaways or gifts do not exist. Nobody should pass on their access data like keys to the wallets. On social media, care should be taken not to rely on unofficial accounts.

At the moment, all developments relating to Shiba-Inu are still very dynamic and not well established. In the meantime, the Shib token can already be traded on crypto exchanges such as Binance, Coinbase and Crypto.com. The Austrian stock exchange Bitpanda has also had Shiba-Inu on offer since the beginning of October.
