Crypto.com buys the naming rights of the LA Lakers Stadium

 


On the roof of the basketball hall, where Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal and LeBron James already played, the words “Staples Center” will no longer be written, but “Crypto.com” - because the crypto company has it Naming rights of the traditional stadium secured.

The 20-year partnership runs through the Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG, a US sports, and entertainment company), which will rename its Staples Center to the Crypto.com Arena from December 25th. In addition to the agreement to offset CO₂ emissions, this contract also includes the partnership with the basketball players of the LA Lakers and the ice hockey team of the LA Kings.
