Angry investors band together
Almost 4,400 crypto investors have joined the so-called UST Restitution Group. Angered by the collapse of the TerraUSD stablecoin, these investors have collectively committed to tracking down Kwon, whom they blame for the collapse. The association appears to be using data shared by members on a Discord channel to find out Kwon's whereabouts.
The URG includes members from around the world who have narrowed down the places they think Kwon might be staying. Suggestions range from Russia and Azerbaijan to remote islands like the Seychelles or Mauritius. However, due to a "3-5 hour time zone shift in the data," they believe Kwon could most likely be in Dubai.
A URG member explains the following:
Dubai is crypto-friendly, very international and has limited extradition treaties.
Prosecutors in South Korea also believe Kwon may have left for Dubai from his previous location in Singapore over the past month. Nothing more is known so far.
URG members are among those who lost untold sums in the collapse of the stablecoin. One member described losing hundreds of thousands of dollars. He said the stress not only set his life plans back many years, but also shortened his life expectancy. Another member stated that he worked for Terraform Labs and felt a responsibility to hold the company's leader accountable.
After losing all his savings on a house, another user said he organized a class action lawsuit against Kwon in Singapore. A similar class action lawsuit was also filed in the United States. One reason for this member's participation is his skepticism about the efforts of the official authorities. Although Interpol issued a "Red Notice" for Kwon, "it is up to the host country to act," the member said. As long as Kwon's whereabouts remain undetermined, this approach seems ineffective.

Recent comments by Do Kwon
In a recent interview, Do Kwon also commented on the Red Notice , saying it was not an international arrest warrant. While he regrets the damage the collapse caused to many people, he claims he did nothing wrong. Despite this dubious claim, he has refused to reveal his whereabouts, reportedly worried for his own safety.
In addition to the Red Notice and the court cases, South Korean authorities have also charged Kwon with financial fraud.
