Terra (Luna): Victims begin hunting Do Kwon

 


The collapse of Terra Luna is probably one of the most prominent events in recent cryptocurrency history. The – 98 percent collapse, which burned billions in assets, does not only have financial consequences.


Terra founder Do Kwon has been on the run for weeks and even the international search organization Interpol has now blacklisted him. Although Do Kwon, formerly thought to be South Korea's Elon Musk, says he hasn't fled, $40 million of his own wealth has already been frozen.


Victims begin the hunt

In the meantime, however, another party has joined the hunt for the formerly celebrated entrepreneur. An organization made up of more than 4,000 victims, who all lost a lot of money in the Terra Luna crash, now wants to hold Do Kwon accountable.


According to information from this network, there is a 50 percent chance that the person you are looking for is currently in Dubai. The country is also ideal for this, as there are no or very few extradition agreements here and the nation is generally very friendly towards cryptocurrencies.


What will become of Kwon?

But what would actually happen if Terra founder Kwon was tracked down in Dubai or another country? There are actually three options for this:


The host country acts : The most likely scenario would probably be action by the host country. If arrested and extradited, Do Kwon would likely face hefty prison terms after a trial in South Korea or Indonesia.

Interpol Strikes : In the second scenario, Interpol would strike itself, which would have the same effect at the end of the day, apart from a bit more international exposure.

The victims are quicker : What should happen in this case is probably the most speculative. In any case, this scenario would probably be the worst option for Do Kwon.
