Terra (LUNA) boss Do Kwon speaks up again for the first time

 


Do Kwon, the co-founder and managing director of the spectacularly failed crypto project Terra ( LUNA ), has spoken out in public for the first time since the collapse, prompting the crypto community to react in a highly polarized manner.


Although Kwon tried to clear his name in the said interview, the majority of crypto users remain critical of the Terra CEO. For example , podcaster Eric Conner points to the apparent lack of justice in the Kwon case, because while one of the leading developers of the crypto mixer Tornado Cash was arrested and now "fears for his life", the Terra boss could continue " Party,” despite causing billions of dollars in damage to the crypto industry.


Crypto analyst FatManTerra also weighed in, saying the interview was ultimately just “hot air” because Kwon would tell a lot of lies and try to make the fraud he committed appear innocent.


The crypto entrepreneur and Bitcoin ( BTC ) advocate Cory Klippsten, who predicted the general end of crypto savings platforms in the wake of the Terra debacle , speaks up and encourages aggrieved crypto users to take legal action against Kwon. Crypto analyst Hailey Lennon, on the other hand, feels that the interview doesn't deserve any attention from the community, so she purposely doesn't share the conversation on social media.


Overall, the rejection prevails, but some crypto investors are still loyal to Kwon and insist on his innocence. A Twitter user says that the Terra CEO is still trying to build a "better LUNA".


In June, South Korean authorities imposed a travel ban on employees of the resident crypto company Terraform Labs, which is responsible for Terra. With CEO Do Kwon already in Singapore, South Korea is considering invalidating the controversial crypto entrepreneur's passport to prevent further escape.
