Partnership with STEPN Atlético Madrid comes into the NFT space

 


Solana blockchain-based move-to-earn protocol STEPN has partnered with crypto exchange WhaleFin and Spanish football club Atlético de Madrid. The company announced this on Twitter yesterday.

The aim is therefore to launch an NFT football shoe collection. It should contain 1,001 copies.

"Fans who purchase NFTs can access exclusive products and experiences," the club said .

The collection will be divided into three different categories, which are already known in such projects: "common", "unusual" and "rare".

There are also “exclusive experiences” such as “travel and hotel accommodation and tickets for a live team game at the Cívitas Metropolitano”.

The NFT cooperation should also serve a good purpose: 10 percent of the profits would benefit the Spanish first division club after supporting "international schools".

The cooperation with STEPN is not the first step of “Los Colchoneros” towards crypto space. The Atletico De Madrid Fan Token (ATM) has been around since 2020.
