Crypto Market Worth Over $1 Trillion Again

With a daily increase of over four percent, the total crypto market capitalization has again conquered the symbolically important mark of one trillion US dollars.

Compared to the previous week, most of the 100 largest cryptocurrencies are posting significant gains.

Bitcoin is up 4.6 percent on the day. The crypto reserve currency is thus trading at 22,200 US dollars. As recently as last Wednesday, the BTC rate was $19,000.

With a price jump of 26 percent in one week, ether is trading at around $1,500. And this despite the fact that the Ethereum merge was postponed again .

After Lido DAO (LDO), Polygon (MATIC) leads the list of price winners of the 100 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization.

MATIC has risen by 57 percent to 90 cents within a week.

However, this has not yet initiated a trend reversal. The war in Ukraine, rising inflation data and energy prices continue to weigh on the financial markets.
