Universal Token: One token for all Metaverse platforms

The universal token allows gamers to use all platforms with just one single token. This idea could fully network the Metaverse and players could move freely between the virtual worlds.

Pocketful of Quarters is the blockchain gaming company behind this idea. The patented "Zero-Click-Transfer" is an innovative new method to move assets between different games. Zero-Click allows players to use their in-game tokens, NFTs and cryptocurrencies without relying on hardware wallets, browser extensions or other complex web3 experiences .

As the first universal token in the gaming sector , Quarters can be used for more than 100 different games and platforms and POQ expects further growth from further projects.

Michael Weiksner is the co-founder and CEO of POQ. “Gamers want a Metaverse experience that is fun, safe, and allows switching between games and platforms. But the current games don't allow that yet. Currently there are millions of games with their own closed world and their own digital currencies.”

Universal token: how it works

After logging into POQ, Zero-Click stores public and private keys. Any player can use and earn in-game tokens, NFTs and cryptocurrencies on integrated games. Users do not have to make separate payments for a platform or buy gaming tokens for each game individually.

Zero-Click uses Quarters (Q), the universal gaming token on the blockchain. Quarters is a game and platform independent digital currency. It allows players to easily transfer tokens and assets between hundreds of genres and games.

Weiksner: “We are always looking for new innovative ways to make games better for users. Zero-Click makes gaming easy, seamless, and hassle-free. With Quarters, there is finally a universal gaming token that meets the demands of a networked metaverse.”

According to Quarters , the cross-platform currency also gives developers more flexibility in creating, distributing, monetizing and cross-marketing games. This flexibility allows developers to create stunning new multiplayer experiences without losing creative and commercial control.

POQ also has a Q2 token. “It is a unique governance and burn token. Q2 tokens give players, influencers, developers and investors the opportunity to invest in and help shape the new Quarters multiverse.”

The 5 largest platforms for non-fungible token (NFT) collectibles

Since the beginning of 2021, non-fungible tokens (NFT) have had no holding back and the sector is setting new records almost every day.  More and more artists, stars and brands are realizing the potential - NFT are well on their way to catapulting the crypto space into the mainstream.  But which collectibles are currently the most popular? What are NFT? NFT are unique tokens that cannot be exchanged one-for-one for an equivalent token.  Any asset that is tokenizable can be an NFT.  This includes, for example, (digital) works of art, trading cards, game items and crypto domains.  Theoretically, however, real estate or securities can also be mapped as NFT. NFTs can be used to transparently map ownership structures on a public blockchain.  This allows them to store value just like real objects, even if additional copies are easy to make.  For example, the original picture of the Mona Lisa is significantly more valuable than a photo, as everyone kno...

CARDALONIA: THE CARDANO METAVERSE OPENS THE GATES!

Have you ever been to Cardalonia? With these words, the Cardano Metaverse called Cardalonia starts the gates. In this 3D world, developers and users can interact with each other. First of all, users have to create an individual character with which they can move online. After that you can enter one of the worlds built by developers with this character. You can also purchase your own land in the Cardano Metaverse via the marketplaces in Cardalonia . This is secured by Cardano's blockchain technology and therefore offers a relatively secure transfer of ownership. Since these are only digital plots of land, it is not yet entirely clear when the plots of land are purchased whether they can also be sold again in the future. A possible profit cannot be estimated at the moment. In Cardalonia, the cryptocurrency Lonia is used. The maximum amount of tokens in circulation is 100,000,000. The team consists of Alice Sand (Co-Founder), Vasil Air (CTO) and Dustan Water (Fullstack Developer). T...
