Yearn.Finance founder calls for tough crypto regulation

 


Star developer Andre Cronje reported back in a Medium post on Monday, April 18th. Only recently did the DeFi legend announce that he wanted to give up crypto and leave the scene 

In the most recent post, the yearn.finance founder writes that the mistakes of the past would be repeated in the creation of the current monetary policy.

Cronje criticizes the crypto community for jumping to conclusions before fully understanding the facts: "Crypto is the new generation, the generation of 'we can do better'," he explained.

"I have long expressed my disdain for crypto culture and my love for the crypto ethos," it said. Cronje defines crypto-ethos as “a concept such as autonomous rights, self-custody, self-empowerment”. However, crypto culture is “concepts such as wealth, entitlement, enrichment and ego.”

In this context, Cronje calls for stronger crypto regulation. In the last paragraph, he also announced that the crypto world would enter a new era. "I'm really looking forward to this new future," says Cronje. So crypto may not seem to be completely written off for the DeFi developer after all.
