Shiba Inu Metaverse goes live with Land Bid Event already underway

 


Shiba Inu's metaverse, SHIB: The Metaverse, went live Wednesday and the land bid event is currently taking place. Currently, only leash holders are granted priority access to the land bidding event.


Leash holders can lock their leash tokens to bid for the country. Leash holders may inspect, bid for, and purchase land in SHIB: The Metaverse.


The current bidding process for plots is scheduled to last three days and there are approximately 35,000 plots available.


After growing concern as investors look for a chance to buy a piece of land in the Shiba Inu metaverse, there are expectations that the lots will be sold out by the time the sale is completed. The Shiba Inu metaverse has been dubbed the "Future of the Internet."


After the land auction, the lots in SHIB: The Metaverse are available for everyone to view, bid and buy. An additional 66,000 lots are then expected to become available.


What is SHIB: The Metaverse?

SHIB: The Metaverse is the Shiba Inu Metaverse ecosystem that features virtual properties known as "Shiba Inu Lands" that provide passive income for owners.


One of the Metaverse developers, Eric M, described the project as "a place where our community, tokens, games, ShibaSwap and much more will meet".


SHIB: The Metaverse was originally affiliated with the Shiba Inu Games project, but that is no longer the case as it is a standalone project.


In the end, the SHIB: The Metaverse website is expected to have about 100,595 lots for sale. The lots are placed on a Metaverse map lined with streets and Shiba-related names.
