Coinbase launches NFT platform with social features

Starting today, Coinbase NFT officially launches the beta phase. Initially only with three million users. You had to be on a waiting list beforehand .

Coinbase announced its foray into NFT space in October 2021.

Over the months, more users should have access to the platform. In October 2022, the platform should then be open to everyone.

Coinbase has introduced social features to its platform along the lines of Instagram and TikTok.

Users can showcase their profiles and follow other accounts through personalized feeds. You can also “like” and comment on the posts of other users.

Facebook is also working on NFT features for its platforms .

Demand for NFTs has been falling since the beginning of the year. On the largest NFT marketplace, Open Sea, trading volume collapsed by 70 percent in March 2022 .

Coinbase has more than 73 million registered users in 2022.
