MetaMask Wallet integrates Apple Pay as a payment option

The popular Web 3.0 wallet MetaMask integrates Apple Pay as a payment method. This emerges from a tweet from the crypto wallet provider.

In practice, this means that users can now use their Visa or Mastercard cards stored in their Apple Pay to buy crypto. For this purpose, the wallet worked together with the company Wyre .

In some cases, the respective transactions could be made "gasless", i.e. without costs, MetaMask continued to explain.

According to Statista , Apple Pay has over 500 million users worldwide. The integration should therefore make it easier for many people to acquire cryptocurrencies.

Only recently, however, did MetaMask come under criticism because users from certain countries were blocked across the board.
