Ubisoft focuses on crypto games

 


Ubisoft is increasingly using distributed ledger technologies for game development. As a member of the Hedera Governing Council, Ubisoft supports projects and start-ups in gaming development on the Hedera network.



Ubisoft and the HBAR Foundation have announced their partnership .

As part of this, Ubisoft becomes a member of the Hedera Governing Council and operates a node in the Hedera network.

Ubisoft also set up the "Ubisoft Entrepreneurs Lab", which is intended to promote the development of games in the Hedera network and support corresponding projects.

"At Ubisoft, we believe that distributed ledger technology is a key to the future of gaming by opening up new opportunities for gamers to become true stakeholders in our games," said Didier Genevois, Blockchain Technical Director at the Ubisoft Strategic Innovation Lab.

The HBAR Foundation is the investment arm of the Hedera ecosystem, funding developers, startups and organizations building on the network.
