This is how many SHIB tokens a new Shiba Inu whale holds

 


Another major Shiba Inu holder has entered the market as SHIB replaces FTT as the top investment for ETH whales.

Recent on-chain data from WhaleStats shows that a new Shiba Inu whale has emerged holding a massive amount of SHIB, which is also a massive amount in USD.


The new whale bought 3.4 trillion SHIB. According to WhaleStats, two transactions were made just hours ago that have seen a new whale wallet pop up in the Shiba Inu community. The wallet contains just over 3.4 trillion SHIB tokens, equivalent to $115.9.


Another tweet from WhaleStats shows that SHIB has also reached another milestone. Right now, the second largest meme coin is the largest by USD value among the top 1,000 ETH whales.


SHIB has overtaken FTT and is currently the largest ERC-20 holding. SHIB is now second only to ETH in ETH whales’ top 10 crypto holdings list.


The meme token currently accounts for 16.85% of their portfolio. This equates to $1,822,731,714 in fiat. ETH whales also hold $1,738,099,872 worth of FTT, or 16.07% of their portfolios.


MATIC closes out this list, currently occupying last place (2.71% worth $293,883,954), while MANA occupies only a higher position.


WhaleStats has also revealed that large ETH holders continue to buy Chainlink (LINK) and Polygon (MATIC) tokens while the price of these assets has surged over the past 24 hours.


In total, several whales bought 14,853,654 MATIC tokens. This equates to a fiat value of $29,120,876. Polygon's token is up 11.20% and is currently trading at $1.99.


That's down 33.16% from the all-time high of $2.92 hit on Dec. 27.



Whales also bought 429,990 LINK worth $8,173,410. According to CoinMarketCap, LINK is up a little over 1% in the past 24 hours.
