Cardano whale population increased by 15,000 percent

The number of major Cardano investors has reached a new record high. Since December last year alone, the whale population has increased by 15,000 percent.

The number of Cardano investors holding between 10,000 and one million ADA has increased by 15,000 percent since mid-December 2021 .

Around 3,900 wallets were newly evaluated during this period.

Regarding the network’s DeFi ambitions since the Alonzo upgrade, Cardano recently set another record by reaching over 1,000 smart contracts.

The ADA rate is currently up 4.5 percent and is trading at $1.07.
