1,000 Smart Contracts on Cardano – Blockchain almost full

 



Only with the Alonzo upgrade of September 12, 2021 can smart contracts be played on Cardano at all.

Since then there has been a veritable Cambrian explosion.

Over 1,000 smart contracts have since been launched on Plutus, Cardano's native smart contract platform.

The smart contracts noticeably fill the blockchain. The blockchain load, i.e. the digital fill level of the blockchain, has risen to an average of over 90 percent since Alonzo. In other words, the blocks are almost full.

The decentralized exchange SundaeSwap got off to a somewhat bumpy start.

Cardano is currently trading at USD 91.31 and is therefore around 4 percent in the red.
