Valkyrie plans Bitcoin Mining ETF

According to a corresponding application to the US Securities and Exchange Commission , Valkyrie is planning a Bitcoin Mining ETF.

Included are companies that generate at least 50 percent of their revenue from Bitcoin mining.

The ETF primarily focuses on US companies, but also includes companies from other countries.

The cost level should be 0.75 percent.

When it comes to Bitcoin-related ETFs, Valkyrie is not a blank slate. The asset manager had already placed a futures-based Bitcoin ETF on the Nasdaq stock exchange in October 2021 .

The ticker WGMI is an internet culture reference to a meme: WAGMI stands for “We are all going to make it” on Twitter.

The SEC has yet to approve the filing.
