Tezos: Ubisoft launches Quartz NFT platform - price takes off

Ubisoft is starting a pilot project to offer players a unique experience. From December 9th, fans of "Ghost Recon Breakpoint" will be able to receive content from the game as non-fungible tokens via airdrop for the first time. The NFTs are called "Digits" and will appear in various collections that give equipment a unique look and serial number.

It is true that collecting so-called skins in games is not a world first, but thanks to the NFTs, players have a certificate for their game content and can, among other things, trade them. However, this will only be possible on authorized marketplaces, which previously included Rarible and Objkt.

To be eligible to receive the NFTs, players must be at least 18 years old and play Ghost Recon Breakpoint on a Windows PC through Ubisoft Connect. In addition, they must have reached at least level 5 in the game. Ubisoft Quartz is only available in the US, Canada, Germany and 6 other countries. According to the press release , two additional airdrops will take place on December 12th and 15th, and further actions are planned for the coming year.

Tezos course takes off

Tezos was not one of the most successful blockchain platforms on the market in 2021. While many other projects operating in the same niche were able to throw off one fireworks display after the other, the performance of XTZ was rather modest, if good.

However, the fact that Ghost Recon players now need a Tezos wallet because Quartz is realized on the basis of the Tezos blockchain made the hearts of investors beat faster. Because in the last 24 hours alone, the XTZ rate was able to record a plus of a little more than 36%.

In the end, it comes as no surprise that Tezos was chosen. In April, Ubisoft announced its entry as a so-called "Corporate Baker"The Spieleschmiede has been active in staking for a while and has good reason to prefer Tezos to all other possible solutions.

Not a bear market: According to the analyst, the current BTC decline is the same as in previous Bitcoin cycles

According to one analyst, Bitcoin is behaving the same overall this year as it has in previous cycles. Bitcoin ( BTC ) will have “at least one more boost higher” before hitting all-time highs this halving cycle, analysts are currently saying. The well-known analyst TechDev has spoken on Twitter about the current state of BTC and said that contrary to many opinions, nothing unusual has happened in BTC/USD in 2022. Bitcoin in 2021: Nothing to see here Sentiment has also taken a hit, falling 40 percent from November's all-time high of $69,000. There is still “extreme fear” in the bitcoin and altcoin market. TechDev, known for his bullish views on Bitcoin, sees no reason to worry. He analyzed the new wallet addresses in relation to course behavior and shows here that the scenario from last year was by no means an isolated case. Back then, the number of new addresses made lower highs while the price made higher highs. "In 4 of the 6 corrections, there was divergence with price ma...

The 5 largest platforms for non-fungible token (NFT) collectibles

Since the beginning of 2021, non-fungible tokens (NFT) have had no holding back and the sector is setting new records almost every day.  More and more artists, stars and brands are realizing the potential - NFT are well on their way to catapulting the crypto space into the mainstream.  But which collectibles are currently the most popular? What are NFT? NFT are unique tokens that cannot be exchanged one-for-one for an equivalent token.  Any asset that is tokenizable can be an NFT.  This includes, for example, (digital) works of art, trading cards, game items and crypto domains.  Theoretically, however, real estate or securities can also be mapped as NFT. NFTs can be used to transparently map ownership structures on a public blockchain.  This allows them to store value just like real objects, even if additional copies are easy to make.  For example, the original picture of the Mona Lisa is significantly more valuable than a photo, as everyone kno...
