Big Bitcoin Crash this morning: -19%



This morning there was a rather marked drop in the Bitcoin price. Bitcoin price fell -19% in just an hour. On the Bitstamp exchange, the price fell from around 52,500 US dollars to 43,972 US dollars. At the moment, the Bitcoin course has caught up and is quoted around 47k . What is the reason for this sale?

The Twitter community agrees: It was a flash crash . Maybe the reasons are technical.

It will definitely be exciting. The Anglicism Flash Crash describes a sharp drop in stock exchange prices on the financial markets, which lasts only a few minutes. The sudden slump is followed by a similarly rapid recovery. When a software bug causes a crash of this type, it is often referred to as a glitch. We are eagerly awaiting the explanations from the experts.
