Dogecoin or Tesla? Binance CEO starts Twitter raffle

After an exchange of blows on Twitter between Elon Musk and Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, the latter is now playing the latest trick and starting a raffle: Tesla or Dogecoin - what can it be?

Tesla boss Elon Musk is a long-time proponent of the crypto currency Dogecoin - but he doesn't think much of centralized crypto exchanges like Binance. And Musk has not tired of expressing this opinion on Twitter lately.

Binance founder and CEO Changpeng Zhao, who only calls himself CZ in crypto circles, is now responding with a bizarre raffle: Twitter users have the choice between a custom-made Tesla in Doge design or Dogecoin worth 50,000 dollars .

“I'm giving away a Doge Tesla and $ 50,000 in Dogecoin. Which of the two do you want? ”Wrote CZ on Twitter. Users should tweet and explain which of the two prices they prefer. Binance would then choose a favorite from the answers and send it the corresponding price. Further requirements for participation are that you have an account with Binance - and not only follow the company itself, but also Elon Musk on Twitter.

Twitter exchange of blows between Elon Musk and Binance boss CZ

That alone shows that the raffle is likely to be a reaction from CZ to the Twitter taunts from Elon Musk. This had recently spoken out repeatedly against Binance. On the one hand, by agreeing to a tweet that paraphrased the famous crypto motto “Not your keys, not your coins”. This saying, which means something like "Not your keys, not your cryptocurrency", reflects Musk's criticism of crypto exchanges. Because if you give the private keys to your cryptocurrency to someone else, you are no longer in possession of the currency itself.

Elon Musk agreed with this saying with a simple "Exactly". Previously, the Tesla CEO had directly addressed the Binance boss CZ about dealing with Binance's Dogecoin customers and called them "dodgy" on Twitter.

CZ had teased back by sharing an article on Twitter about a recall of more than 12,000 Tesla cars in the United States.

The further interactions in the Twitter conversation remained polite, however, and the online arguments between the two never seem to turn into a feud. "I have nothing against him," confirmed CZ "Yahoo Finance" in relation to his Twitter dispute with Elon Musk. “I don't take it personally either. In my opinion this is a bit of a friendly banter and a little entertainment for the Twitter community. "

So the raffle should rather be meant as a winking reaction to Elon Musk and his tweets. However, depending on which price is considered more desirable by Twitter users in the end, the cheerful social media exchange of blows could go into the next round.

The 5 largest platforms for non-fungible token (NFT) collectibles

Since the beginning of 2021, non-fungible tokens (NFT) have had no holding back and the sector is setting new records almost every day.  More and more artists, stars and brands are realizing the potential - NFT are well on their way to catapulting the crypto space into the mainstream.  But which collectibles are currently the most popular? What are NFT? NFT are unique tokens that cannot be exchanged one-for-one for an equivalent token.  Any asset that is tokenizable can be an NFT.  This includes, for example, (digital) works of art, trading cards, game items and crypto domains.  Theoretically, however, real estate or securities can also be mapped as NFT. NFTs can be used to transparently map ownership structures on a public blockchain.  This allows them to store value just like real objects, even if additional copies are easy to make.  For example, the original picture of the Mona Lisa is significantly more valuable than a photo, as everyone kno...

CARDALONIA: THE CARDANO METAVERSE OPENS THE GATES!

Have you ever been to Cardalonia? With these words, the Cardano Metaverse called Cardalonia starts the gates. In this 3D world, developers and users can interact with each other. First of all, users have to create an individual character with which they can move online. After that you can enter one of the worlds built by developers with this character. You can also purchase your own land in the Cardano Metaverse via the marketplaces in Cardalonia . This is secured by Cardano's blockchain technology and therefore offers a relatively secure transfer of ownership. A possible profit cannot be estimated at the moment. In Cardalonia, the cryptocurrency Lonia is used. The maximum amount of tokens in circulation is 100,000,000.
